I can hardly remember a time when sailing wasn't a major part of my life. I earned NCAA All-American honors at Boston College where I won multiple collegiate national championships as a member of the sailing team (2007-2011), plus won a gold medal at the Hinman Nationals Team Racing Championships in the United States in 2014. Recently, I was as a member of the U.S. team that won the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Team Racing Championship at Rutland, United Kingdom.
